A digital home as bold and as her floral sculptures — where commerce meets art gallery.

Ren MacDonald-Balasia builds floral worlds that blur fantasy and reality, pulling from Japanese heritage, Pacific landscapes, and 17 years of industry craft. Her LA and Honolulu-based studio, Renko, is known for sculptural arrangements that challenge conventional beauty — surreal textures, vibrating colors, foraged materials that feel both grounded and otherworldly. But her digital presence wasn't keeping pace. A bare-bones ecommerce site couldn't hold the full scope of her work, her press, or her new merch line. Everything lived on Instagram, which meant no real home base, no archive, and no room to grow.

We designed a website that functions like one of Ren's installations — one that commands attention while feeling unexpected, refreshing, and elevated without trying too hard. The new site weaves together shop, portfolio, services, press archive, and contact into a seamless experience that feels edgy and stylish, not template-driven. We expanded her existing brand palette and built a work showcase that nods to gallery presentation, giving each project room to breathe. Now Ren has a digital home that can scale with her vision, sell her merch with ease, and give people a reason to linger beyond the feed.
